Welcome

Perched at the end of “la Presqu’île de Rhuys” in Arzon, in a breath-taking unspoiled nature, and located only a step away from the harbour of “le Crouesty” and Fogeo beach. The megalithic site of Petit Mont overhangs the Ocean and the “Golf of Morbihan”.

This imposing monument of over 6000 years of age, is visited the same way you read an history book. The Cairn of Gavrinis is so much more than a “simple megalithic architecture!

Discovering the Cairn of Petit Mont, is understanding our history since the first time of our world. Indeed, it has been used by the men of the Neolithic age, then during the Gallo-roman area, and finally, during the second world war, as a strategic location by the German army who built a bunker in 1945.

Guided visits and workshops are programmed all year long (depending on the open hours of the site) in order to make you discover the prehistory, and this exceptional place in a playful and educational way.
