Workshops for kids
  • 5€The fee is in addition to the entrance fee (the site is free for children under 10 years of age) and it is advisable to book your workshop: 02 97 53 74 03.

    An adult must be present: children cannot be left alone. The adult will pay for the entrance ticket to the site to benefit from the visit and will only pay for the workshop ticket (in addition) if he/she participates.

    We thank you for respecting the age limit.

How to benefit from free access?

Free admission is possible in the following cases:
• Person with a disability, on presentation of proof
• Child under 4 years of age
• Amel card, valid for one person, on presentation of proof
• Coupon from the Morbihan
Departmental Council
• Agent of the Compagnie des Ports du Morbihan, valid for one person, on presentation of proof

Can I get a reduced rate?

Reduced rates apply under the following conditions:

Megalith PassYou
get a discount if you have visited one of the following megalithic sites: the Cairn de Petit Mont, the Site des Mégalithes de Locmariaquer, the Musée de Préhistoire de Carnac or the Alignments de Carnac. The Pass is then given to you when you purchase your ticket.
The discount applies from the second site visited, it is valid for two people.
The Pass is valid all year round, depending on the opening period of the partner sites.
At the Cairn de Gavrinis, the Megalith Pass allows a discount only on classic visits.

Culture Trails PassThe Culture
Trails Pass is given to you when you visit one of the following departmental properties, in addition to the Gavrinis cairn: the Petit Mont cairn, the Suscinio and Kerguéhennec estates.
It allows you to benefit from the reduced rate, and is valid for two people, from the second site visited.
It is valid all year round, depending on the opening period of the departmental properties.
At the Cairn de Gavrinis, the Culture Trails Pass allows a discount only on classic visits.

  • Cezam card, CNAS card, person accompanying a person with a disability
    You benefit from the reduced rate, for one person, on presentation of proof.
    The discount for Cézam and CNAS cards is applicable only on the classic tour.

Child, family and student packageDiscount
rates are offered in the following age groups: 4/9 years (under 10 years), 10/17 years (under 18 years), and student.

The student rate applies to the presentation of a student card valid for the current year, and its holder must be under 26 years of age.

The family rate allows you to benefit from a discount for two adults and two children aged between 10 and 17 years (under 18 years).

have your own boat.
You benefit from a reduced rate, it includes the guided tour of the site without the boat crossing.
You must book and collect your tickets from our shops in the Gavrinis cairn in Larmor-Baden or at the Petit Mont cairn in Arzon. Guides are not allowed to transact on the island. You will be denied access if you do not have your access ticket.
Upon arrival, you must leave the priority of access to the hold to the passenger boat, for the duration of your visit.

Twin ticketYou
benefit from a reduced rate to visit the cairns of Gavrinis and Petit Mont.
Be careful, you must go by your own means to the port of Larmor-Baden and the cairn of Petit Mont.

European Heritage DaysAccess
to the site is free during the European Heritage Days. However, the boat crossing from Larmor-Baden is paying, i.e. 9€ for adults and 4€ for children over 4 years old and students.

Discount “gîtes de France”
A 10% discount is offered to “gîtes de France” customers, on presentation of proof.

Where to buy your ticket?

Tickets can be purchased via:

    • our online ticketing
    • by phone at 02 97 53 74 03
    • in our respective shops of the cairn of Gavrinis in Larmor-Baden and the cairn of Petit Mont in Arzon.Tickets cannot be purchased on board the boat or from the guides.
How is my ticket checked?

You bought your ticket in our shops in the cairn of Gavrinis in Larmor-Baden or the cairn of Petit Mont in Arzon:
You can present your ticket when boarding the boat, hold of Pen Lannic of Larmor-Baden. We ask you to be present on the hold at least 10 minutes before the departure of the boat.

You bought your ticket online:
You must have the validity of your ticket checked at the Shop in Larmor-Baden, at least 30 minutes before the departure of the boat out of season and 60 minutes in July/August. The e-ticket has a unique barcode containing the information relating to the service purchased.

The first person to present the ticket is presumed to be the legitimate bearer. For e-tickets, a nominative check can also be carried out. In case of non-presentation of a valid identity document, with photograph, access to the service is refused. You must keep your ticket for the duration of your visit.

Do I have to respect the time slot?

Yes, the tour never leaves late, nor does the boat in the case of the twin ticket. Visitors with a ticket are asked to arrive at least 30 minutes before the boat’s departure time at the Larmor-Baden reception desk, and at least 1 hour during busy periods.

If you do not show up at the departure time, tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable. It is not possible to change the time slot, the ticket is only valid for the service booked.

Is it possible to refund tickets?

In accordance with our general conditions of sale, tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable, except in cases of force majeure.
An exceptional study of your application may be carried out, subject to acceptance. Your file – including your application and supporting documents – must be sent to accueil@cairndepetitmont.com

What if I have the wrong type of ticket?

Orders cannot be modified once they have been completed. In accordance with our general conditions of sale, tickets are neither exchangeable nor refundable.

Infos access

Where to park?

A free car park is available at the entrance to the Pointe de Petit Mont. Access to the monument is then by foot (5 min) via the small path located in the extension of the car park.

How to come?

You can reach the Pointe de Petit Mont by car, bicycle, coach or camper van. Maritime connections are possible at Port Navalo. In summer, a free shuttle is organised between Port Navalo and Petit Mont.

What if you chose the boat over the car?

In July and August, the Arzibus line n°3 in the commune of Arzon allows you to travel free of charge between the cairn of Petit Mont and the pier of Port Navalo.

Why not then take a trip to the cairn of Gavrinis or the commune of Larmor-Baden?

Prepare your visit

Visits are also possible thanks to a fun trail via the Baludik application, which is free and can be downloaded onto your phone. Young and old can discover the Petit Mont cairn in the company of Fanch, Lili, Zach and Pitchou! Riddles and games are on the programme…

– “The mysterious stone”.

This application also offers a tour in English.

We advise you to download the Baludik application before coming to the site and to flash the QR code to access the game in the shop.

Instructions before coming :

– Please present yourself at the reception desk of the Petit Mont cairn, so that we can welcome you, inform you, validate your tickets and show you our shop: 15min before the departure of the boat.

– Please leave your pet at home. We remind you that animals are our friends, but are not allowed on site.

– Please do not touch or rub the engravings. The site is fragile and narrow: lockers will be available, under the supervision of a receptionist, to leave your bags and personal belongings.

– Please do not eat or smoke on the site.
